Things and Stuff Wiki - An organically evolving personal wiki knowledge base. An on-the-fly taxonomy containing a patchwork trail of topic outlines, descriptions, notes, stubs and breadcrumbs, with links to sites, systems, software, manuals, organisations, people, articles, guides, slides, papers, books, comments, videos, screencasts, webcasts, scratchpads and more. Content is orientated towards mostly free/libre/open, mostly Linux. Quality and age varies drastically. Sometimes old things are first, sometimes last. Stupid Light: Why lighter is not always right or better

Camping gear
- tent and pegs
- plastic mallet
- in a large rucksack or suitcase with wheels

Sleeping
- two sleeping bags, larger inside smaller (though neither too small)
- foam pillow + camping pillow case? inflatable pillow but large enough
- folding roll matt with reflective lining or self-inflating roll mat of some sort
- rug for on-top for cold nights

Bedside kit
- bedside/tent LED strips/lamps
- good eye mask
- sleeping ear plugs / active noise cancellation earbuds
- glasses case
- sunglasses

Wash kit bag
- toothbrush
- toothpaste (mini-tubes of paste from dentist receptions)
- soap in kinder egg or other capsule
- toilet roll in waterproof bag
- face cloth for showering and shaving
- towel (microfiber is lighter and faster drying)
- sun cream (30/50 spf)
- moisturiser for face and hands
- midge spray / skin-so-soft
- safety razor, lather with moisturiser+water
- germaline/savlon
- plasters
- hair bands
- mirror
- tweezers
- nail clippers / nail file
- hand wipes (or tat them after)

Clothes bags
- store each type of clothing in separate plastic bags
- pants and socks for every second day working away
- clothes for all weathers
- waterproof trousers for rain and ming' work
- rain jacket or poncho
- caps and/or visors for sun
- warm hats for night, especially when trying to sleep
- cloak?
- wellington boots, or work boots
- extra pairs of bags for in-shoes/boots in case it rains

Misc kit bag
- saw knife for fire wood

- handkerchief packets in a baggie

- spodger for Heras fencing

- AAA batteries in baggies if needed
